Evan was raised in Brandon, Mississippi and has worked hard since a young age. In his adult life, Evan has worked in politics, managing election campaigns and advised committees in the Mississippi House of Representatives. He also founded, managed, and eventually sold a synthetic turf company which designed and installed residential and commercial projects across four states.
After law school, Evan began his career at Porter & Malouf in Jackson, MS, and ran the firm's New Orleans area offices, where he represented thousands of people and businesses against British Petroleum (BP) following the Deepwater Horizion explosion and subsequent oil spill. This experience led Evan to be designated as an expert witness in various State and Federal Court proceedings throughout the Southeast on the subject of claims procedure and quantum.
Once the BP Litigation ended, Evan co-founded Langston & Weems PLLC in Gulfport, Mississippi where he practiced successfully from 2017-2024.
Today, Evan represents people and business entities in all stages of litigation. Known as an exceptional communicator, he has a knack for sorting through complex issues quickly and obtaining maximum value for his clients.
When not at work, Evan enjoys playing golf and finding new restaurants. Most of all, he enjoys quality time with his wife and kids.
